"Fuel Up with Color" 5K race and 1 mile kids' fun run & fitness challenge

Description: The Nebraska Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (NAND) will host its 1st annual "Fuel Up with Color" 5K race and 1 mile kids' fun run & fitness challenge. This year's 5K and 1 mile fun run & fitness challenge will be both competitive, for those runners who are actively involved in races, as well as family-focused to promote fitness and healthy eating in Nebraskan families while having fun. The fitness component of the 1 mile run will include physical fitness challenges at each 1/4 mile at food-group stations. At the end of the race, kids will be given colorful stickers from each of the 5 food groups. At the end of the race, the 1 mile runners will be decorated with the food groups!
Packet Pickup:
Registrants are encourage to pick their bibs, timing tags and t-shirt on Friday, September 7th from 5-7 p.m. at the 84th & Holdrege Hy-Vee Club Room. Pre-Registration pickup will begin at 7 a.m on race day.

5K Fees
$20 - Early Bird Adult ($25 after 8/25)
$15 - 12 & Younger/Seniors 60 & Over ($20 after 8/25)
Note: Add a DriFit Shirt for only $10. Option will be given during registration.
1 Mile Fun Run & Fitness Challenge Fees
$10 - 12 & Younger ($15 after 8/25)
Note: $6 each additional child after 1st registered. To do so, choose "1 Mile 12 & Under (Group Registration) radio button
Bring a canned good to help support the Food Bank of Lincoln
