Asian Community and Cultural Center  The Lincoln Asian Community and Cultural Center’s (ACCC) services and programs focus on increasing the stability of immigrant and refugee families in Lincoln who face economic and cultural barriers to self-sufficiency as New Americans, providing culturally specific services for Lincoln’s Asian and Sudanese populations. ACCC also provides support with health care issues, including assistance in making doctors’ appointments and visits; domestic violence counseling and guidance, employment assistance, teaching communication strategies for parents and their teenagers with the ultimate goal of preventing substance abuse, and tai chi fitness classes. The Bay  The Bay is a community space with the mission to provide economically and culturally disadvantaged youth with the belonging and purpose they need to grow and reinvest in their community. The Bay features the state’s only public, indoor skatepark, digital art/media lab, all-ages performance venue, community meeting spaces, an emergency pantry and Goldenrod Café. BikeLNK  BikeLNK is Lincoln’s bike share program. The bikes are used for transportation, recreation, and micro mobility in the heart of Lincoln. BikeLNK is also involved in the community through partnerships, volunteerism, and connections that strengthen Lincoln. They provide outreach and event support utilizing bikes, staff, and educational resources for workshops throughout Lincoln. MilkWorks  MilkWorks is a nonprofit community breastfeeding center with a staff of internationally board-certified lactation consultants (IBCLCs) available for appointments. The front desk staff is trained to answer any breastfeeding questions and provide guidance through drop-in weight checks and support groups, offered at no cost to families. Nebraska Operation Lifesaver  Operation Lifesaver is a non-profit, international continuing public education program designed to end collisions, deaths and injuries at places where roadways cross train tracks, and on railroad rights-of-way.  They have trained, certified volunteer speakers who provide FREE safety presentations for various professions and for all age groups. Nebraskans Against Gun Violence  Nebraskans Against Gun Violence work to educate the public about issues related to gun violence and gun violence prevention. They provide education about current gun laws, teach about safe storage of firearms to prevent child access, suicides and theft, and highlight evidence-based solutions to gun violence. Theatre Arts for Kids  Theatre Arts for Kids is a challenging musical theatre arts program specially geared toward the young, aspiring performer interested in learning about, participating in, and producing musical theatre.
