For over three decades, the Asian Community & Cultural Center has welcomed immigrants and refugees arriving in Lincoln. They support and empower all immigrants and refugees, and celebrate and share the rich cultural diversity in the Lincoln community.
In 2025, they served over 1,800 newcomers from 42 different countries through one-on-one mentoring and advocacy, youth empowerment, health education, mental health support, English classes, citizenship classes, and so much more. Their multicultural advocates provide culturally specific outreach and services across various Asian cultures, as well as Sudanese, Afghan, Ukrainian, Yezidi, and other central Asian/Middle Eastern communities in Lincoln
The Asian Center’s team help newcomers integrate and acclimate, share their stories and culture, cultivate success, and find belonging.
