The mission of Wellbeing Initiative, Inc. is to empower individuals living with mental health and substance use challenges to reach their fullest potential. Wellbeing Initiative (WBI) strives to do this by cultivating communities through training, education, and opportunities for success.

WBI programs include: Peer Support Training, Recovery Community Navigators who support people experiencing substance use challenges and their family, many training and education opportunities, and the Wellness and Education Center.

The Wellness and Education Center is a place where people come together to learn, grow, move, and connect in an environment that is warm, welcoming, safe, and inclusive. The center supports individuals who are looking to explore whole health education and seeking support on their path of wellness and recovery, and provides a space for community engagement.  Download a class schedule.

WBI also offers a free computer lab open to the public during office hours, a Community Co-working Space with free Wi-Fi access, and studio, group and boardroom space for rent.

Wellbeing Initiative is a Peer Run Organization, meaning that every staff member identifies as a Peer, or someone who has lived experience walking their own path of recovery. It is a forward-thinking organization in how it focuses on building sustainable supports and programming to create communities that are recovery focused, and ensuring there are resources and opportunities for people to engage in within the realm of recovery and wellness.
